FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
We release all editing pictures to you. All sessions will vary, some may receive 15 images, while others may receive 50. We will not release raw images.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
The best time to schedule a newborn photography session is typically within the first 10 to 14 days after birth. Newborns are sleepier and more flexible during this period, making it easier to pose them safely and comfortably.
What is a Baby Delivery Session like?
A baby delivery photography session is a deeply personal and unique experience-
The photographer stays as unobtrusive as possible, capturing real moments without interrupting the flow of labor and delivery. Expect to see a wide range of feelings- from anticipation to strength to overwhelming joy and tenderness.
Labor can be unpredictable, so sessions are flexible and paced according to what feels right for you and your medical team.
Your comfort and privacy are top priorities. You'll discuss boundaries beforehand about what you're comfortable having photographed, and the photographer will respect those boundaries throughout.
How should we dress for our family session?
Avoid busy patters. Think about the location and dress appropriately for the season. Choose 2-4 complementary colors that work well together ( think soft neutrals, pastels, or earth tones.) Avoid everyone wearing the same exact color- mix shades and textures instead
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Yes. Many people feel shy or unsure in front of the camera, especially during something as personal as a photo session. We are here to help and you're more than welcome to send any inspiration ideas you have.
